Alcohol and Drug Support Worker
As an entry role position an Alcohol and Drug (AOD) Support Worker specialises in providing person-centred care that identifies and responds to the needs of an individual that is experiencing substance abuse problems.
Alcohol and Drug Case Worker
As a Case Worker you will be responsible for providing ongoing support in the areas of employment, training, housing, living requirements and the required social skills to ensure that your clients recovery gains are maintained.
Alcohol and Drug Outreach Worker
As an Alcohol and Drug Outreach Worker you would be responsible for trying to reduce the harmful things that can be associated with drugs and alcohol and work towards the improvement of your clients health and wellbeing.
1. Diploma
CHC53315 Diploma of Mental Health with ACCLM.
2. Bachelor Degree
Bachelor of Community Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs
3. Masters Degree
Example: Master of Counselling.
Online Course Delivery
The course is delivered completely online with no compulsory classroom attendance required. A sound level of computer literacy is expected from students. Online delivery provides you with maximum flexibility, allowing you to study anywhere and anytime.
