ACCLM reserves the right to publish submitted replies & first name only for marketing & promotion purposes on the website and social media.
a. This Scholarship was established in 2021 to assist students in financial hardship during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Scholarship provides support to eligible students towards ACCLM course fees.
a. The applicant must be a domestic student commencing a course with ACCLM.
b. The applicant must be over 18 years old at the time of application for the scholarship.
3. Selection Criteria
a. The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of the best response to “How my chosen ACCLM course will enable me to fulfil my goals”, in 100 words or less.
b. The Scholarship will be awarded by ACCLM.
c. The applicant will need to demonstrate evidence of financial hardship.
d. The Scholarship can be awarded only to new ACCLM students.
a. The Scholarship is valued at up to $700.00 for any one of the following courses within ACCLM’s scope.
i. Diploma of Counselling
ii. Diploma of Community Services (Case Management)
iii. Diploma of Leadership and Management
iv. Case Management Skill Set
b. Deferral or suspension of the Scholarship is not permitted without the prior permission of the Director of Studies.
c. The Scholarship is not transferable to another course under the ACCLM, without the prior approval of the Director of Studies.
f. No other amount is payable.
a. The Scholarship may be terminated if the recipient:
I. withdraws or fails to enrol as per section 2a,
II. does not maintain satisfactory academic performance,
III. is determined by the College to be guilty of serious misconduct, including, but not limited to, having provided false or misleading information as part of their Scholarship application,
IV. does not resume study at the end of a period of approved leave, or
V. any other provision as indicated in these terms that would lead to termination.
b. Once the Scholarship has been terminated, it will not be reinstated unless due to provider error.
c. Where a student is found guilty of serious misconduct or the Scholarship is terminated under any instance in the Termination Clause of these terms and conditions, the provider reserves the right to request that any Scholarship funds paid to the Scholarship recipient be reimbursed.
