Kim brings to ACCLM more than 20 years’ of experience in working in the community sector as a Counsellor, Trainer and Assessor and Mentor. Kim’s career extends to developing effective communication and counselling skills for organisations such Lifeline, Friendship Centre, Meals on Wheels, and other varied community organisations.
Kim’s experience is diverse and multi-faceted with a passion for working and helping others in the areas of mental health, home care, alcohol and other drugs, bereavement through suicide, trauma exposure, grief and loss suicidality and social isolation.
Kim teaches the Diploma of Counselling and the Diploma of Mental Health and is also one of our regular workshop facilitators.

Claire brings to ACCLM more than 30 years’ of experience as a Counsellor, Mental Health Worker, and Homeopathic Practitioner.
While travelling the world Claire has worked as a Humanitarian Volunteer under the hospice of The De la Salle Brothers in countries such as Sri Lanka and India. Claire’s international volunteer work supported women and children who were suffering from the impacts of abuse, poverty, and homelessness.
When Claire is not meeting with clients in her private practice, she volunteers her time to the local Neighbourhood Community Centre. Claire provides support to residents experiencing homelessness, unemployment, domestic and family violence and financial stress.
Claire has also had the opportunity to work with the Queensland Corrective Services in delivering substance intervention courses for inmates.
Claire teaches Diploma of Counselling, Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs and our Alcohol and Other Drugs Skill Set. Claire is also one of our regular workshop facilitators.

Following a successful career in marketing Maree transferred to training and assessing business, marketing, and IT courses with Swinburne University in Melbourne.
Maree has worked with many community service organisations over the years including the Australian Red Cross – Challenge Cancer Support Network where she trained volunteers to support children between the ages of 4 years old – 16 years old with leukemia on recreational camps and activity days.
Maree’s teaching career continued with Tafe Queensland for 11 years in the Business and Humanities faculties specialising in the areas of community services, youth work, and aged care and disability support.
For Maree working in the community services sector has provided a meaningful and rewarding pathway in facilitating and teaching interventions to improve the lives of our most vulnerable members of our society.
Maree teaches the Case Management Skill Set, Diploma of Counselling and the Diploma of Community Services (Case Management). Maree is also one of our regular workshop facilitators.

For the past 12 years Kylie has worked in the community services and social welfare sector. Her diverse experience enables her to support children and young people under the care and protection of the Department of Communities.
With her expertise in youth work, residential coordinating, case management, overseeing staff and the case management of foster and kinship carers Kylie brings to the teaching space a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Kylie’s passion for teaching includes facilitating companywide induction, trauma informed care, therapeutic crisis intervention and courses in youth work, child, youth family intervention, community services and case management.

Thalia has been in working in community services and education space for over 10 years, and specialises in mental health, youth work, and counselling.
Thalia is passionate about supporting student’s to learn and understand the community sector whilst developing effective work practices that support clients with presenting concerns and complex issues utilising a therapeutic approach.
For Thalia, every day provides a new opportunity to learn and grow personally and professionally. She has a degree in Psychology and qualifications in counselling; child, youth family intervention; mental health; community services and management.
Thalia enjoys combining her experience, skill set and passion to provide encouragement and support that maximises the potential of individuals and their own learning.
Amanda is the owner/operator of My Next Level Enterprise. She designs and delivers workplace training and development programs and works with business owner clients in business education, strategy, and skills training. This has exposed her to a diverse range of industries and business types. Amanda commenced this business twenty years ago as a counselling practice and facilitating personal and professional development workshops. She has also been in business in the construction industry for more than thirty years.
Amanda has worked in various management and leadership roles in business development, national sales and marketing, human resource management and customer service and experience management. This has been in a range of sectors within small to medium business, government, health and community organisations as well as large scale corporate environments.
Amanda is also a qualified business trainer and assessor contracted to registered training organisations to facilitate nationally accredited business, leadership, and management qualifications.
Her passion for business, professional and personal development drives her own ongoing growth and love of teaching, and she is dedicated to achieving quality dependable outcomes for long-term impact with everyone she works with.
Amanda delivers a range of workshops for ACCLM with Emotional Intelligence in the context of the community and counselling space one of our most popular workshops.
